I hope that you are all well.
Well summer is almost at an end and soon thoughts will be turning to sensible knitwear and sweeping up the leaves in the garden. The kids are back to school and the conkers (do kids still play 'conkers'?) will be falling, causing havoc on car roofs. Some of you forward planners may even start thinking of dusting off your great Christmas Cake recipes (our tip, be generous with the brandy). This all sounds a bit previous, but you can definitely feel the seasons changing, there's even a chill in the air.
Talking of cake. The Cluntergate is hosting a coffee morning in aid of the wonderful, 'We Are Macmillan Cancer Support' on Friday the 29th September from 9am. We cannot think of anything more perfect to cheer us up from the autumn blues than drink coffee and eating delicious cake whilst raising money for a great cause. Come and join us if you can, and spread the word. It'll be fun!
See you soon!
