Its the little things that make all the difference, isn’t it? A picture hung in the right place in a room can change its atmosphere, the right spice in a curry can elevate a meal to something unforgettable, and the sun at the perfect angle in a wedding photograph can describe the whole day. The devil and the pleasure is always in the detail.
The reason why I write this is that there has been a subtle but significant change to the Cluntergate this week. Some of you have noticed it and reported back to us with overwhelming excitement and some of you have missed it, but we are sure you will notice what has happened on your next visit here. What has happened is that the old, tired and crumbling windows in the Main Hall and Meeting Room One have gone and been chucked into the great rubbish skip in the sky. They have been replaced with brand new elegant frames and glass. They look great and give the spaces a whole new look! This is all part our our bigger plans to transform your building into a ‘People’s Palace’, it make take a bit of time, but the rewards will be worth it. The little things will all add up.
See you soon!
