The Greater World Spiritual Growth Group
Thursday 9th February 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm We will be exploring what is spiritual and what is not and how this affects us and our lives. You may want to bring a notebook and a pen; indispensable will be an open mind and a willingness to participate. A small donation to contribute to room rental is required. You are welcome to invite and bring guests to this and future Meetings but do let us know as space is limited. Contact number for the meeting is 07762884135. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm at the Cluntergate Centre in Horbury. We have an exciting and varied programme of speakers organised for 2017. New members are very welcome and we invite you to come along to our first meeting of the year on Tuesday 17th January at 7.30pm at the Cluntergate Centre to ask any questions and see what we have planned for 2017. If you are looking for a gentle exercise routine suitable for all, this may be the class for you.
This class would be great for weight management, plus mobility and cardiac conditions are all catered for. There is no getting down or up from the floor and all the exercises are adaptable. The class starts at 4.45pm on Mondays - all welcome. As we move in to 2017, all the trustees at the Centre wish all our friends a happy and peaceful new year.
The last twelve months have been an exciting time as we have welcomed more and more people through our doors - as hirers, visitors, enquirers, party goers and volunteers. Next year we will be looking at major grant applications to hopefully secure funding to fix some of the broken and worn out aspects of the building and improve the energy efficiency. All necessary but unexciting stuff! But this will help us sustain the life of our Centre and hopefully ensure it will be there for many more of our residents to enjoy. There are new classes starting in January - see 'What's On'. If there's nothing that takes your fancy why not set up a group with friends where you can sit and colour for an hour, discuss the latest news, share 'new baby' tips, make music, help your teenagers practise their foreign spoken language for their GCSEs - the possibilities are endless. Prices start at £10 per hour, please email info@cluntergate.org.uk to enquire. |
